A good enquiry starts with the opening dimensions, location, preferred finish and intended use. Ask your fabricator to explain the proposed system, glazing and installation scope before accepting a quotation.

Start with the space. Record the approximate opening width and height, where it is located, and the way you want it to open. Share photographs where possible.
Then discuss the system. Ask about the frame finish, glass specification, hardware, installation method and maintenance. Confirm which items are included in the written quotation.
Finally, agree the next step. A site visit and accurate measurements help a business prepare a meaningful quotation. This general planning guide does not replace project-specific technical advice.
